Vignamaggio is a wine estate in the Chianti countryside, known for its beautiful Renaissance villa, its delicious wines, for being the birthplace of the Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo and, last but not least, for an outstanding agritourism which is positioned at the high end of the hospitality available in the area.
The agriturism consists of rooms, suites and apartments, each one different from the next, situated in the villa and in three different old farmhouses which have been carefully and tastefully restored and furnished and which are complemented with outdoor and indoor facilities such as a tennis court, two swimming pools, mountain bikes, gym and a children playground.
CENOBIO
This is one of the main farmhouses on the Vignamaggio estate, a few steps from the Villa.
The reception is at the ground floor, open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. to welcome. No personnel on duty at night.
Rooms are on the first floor, furnished in typical Tuscan style (some of them are no smoking). At the back of the farmhouse there is a large terrace overlooking the valley.
Our wine shop is also situated in Cenobio with wine and oil tastings, open every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Bar service available all day long for wine tastings and light lunch.

Apartments are located on the first floor and on the ground floor with garden s. Furnished in typical Tuscan style, all types of accommodation are air conditioned; one is equipped specifically for disabled guests.
One apartment on the first floor is suitable for a family.
Inside the big dining room we serve breakfast and evening meals during the week. In summer breakfast and dinner are served on the terrace.
